A: A 3D printer is a machine that creates a three dimensional object. We use an additive printer that extrudes plastic in layers.
Q: What is ABS?
A: ABS is a type of plastic that is strong and durable. It is the same material that is used in Legos.
Q: What is a .stl file?
A: An .stl file is the starting point to print a model. These models are made out of triangles. The smaller the triangles, the finer the print.
Q: What is a hot-end?
A: A hot-end is what you attach to the bottom of the assembled plastic extruder parts to melt the plastic.

Q: Is the Prusa 2 Metric? What about the bearings?
A: Yes, it is Metric. The Prusa 2 uses
LM8UU bearings that need a metric smoothed rod to work.
